MerseyBasin Week on the Wirral

Rivacre Brook Clean-up: The Rangers and local community volunteers will be cleaning up a section of Rivacre Brook in Ellesmere Port on Tuesday 3rd October. This work is vital in maintaining the high wildlife value of the Brook and creating a clean safe area for everyone to enjoy. Partners Day at Dibbinsdale Local Nature Reserve: Volunteers form Mersey Basin Campaign partner organisations will be carrying out important conservation work At Dibbinsdale LNR. The Rangers and I have organised a variety of Tasks at the SSSI Nature Reserve on the Wirral. The volunteer will be creating an Outdoor Education Area, Constructing a Weir, carrying out reed-bed management and willow removal.
