Kate - thanks for posting "Ironman" and happy to support the cause! The Gormey exhibit is a true manifestation of what public art should be - breathtaking, stimulating and engaging. The demise of the this exhibit will not be fully felt until those who've made this decision look back with hindsight and realise what a loss they will be to the immediate area, the Mersey Coast and to the North West of England - both in terms of contribution to the artistic community and those who enjoy such works, but to the economy as a whole. I make this plea - that those elected members and decision makers listen to the views of the wider public they are paid to represent and not the voices of the few. The loss of the Ironmen is a loss to all those who havent yet had the chance to see and experience them.
