Flocking to the Mersey

Abstract

The Mersey Estuary is a site of both national and international importance for wading and migratory birds, however access points to sites where you can view these birds can be few and far between. Tim Melling gives an insight into the various species that can be found around the estuary and gives hints and tips on the best times and places to see them.
